More than smell – Chemosensory research in times of corona-pandemic

By now, we know that olfactory loss is a frequent, early and specific symptom of COVID-19. But how did we come to realize this, what research was done on this, how, and on what scale? Ilja Croijmans will talk about chemosensory research in the past 1.5 years, the insights from COVID-19 research on the chemical senses, and other findings from (online) chemosensory research that was possible during the pandemic.
